"महाप्रभु की भूमि ज़्यादा अहम" — पीएम मोदी ने ट्रंप का निमंत्रण ठुकराया, ओडिशा में कहा

 

भुवनेश्वर: प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने शुक्रवार को कहा कि उन्होंने अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप का वॉशिंगटन आने का निमंत्रण ठुकरा दिया, क्योंकि उन्हें भगवान जगन्नाथ की पवित्र भूमि ओडिशा आना था।

ओडिशा में बीजेपी सरकार के एक साल पूरा होने के अवसर पर आयोजित जनसभा में पीएम मोदी ने बताया,

“मैं हाल ही में G7 सम्मेलन के लिए कनाडा में था। वहीं से राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप ने फोन किया और वॉशिंगटन आने, साथ भोजन करने और कई मुद्दों पर बातचीत का प्रस्ताव दिया। मैंने उन्हें धन्यवाद देते हुए कहा कि महाप्रभु की भूमि पर आना मेरे लिए ज्यादा ज़रूरी है। इसलिए मैंने उनका निमंत्रण विनम्रता से अस्वीकार किया।”

प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि ओडिशा के लोगों का स्नेह और भगवान जगन्नाथ के प्रति उनकी आस्था उन्हें यहाँ खींच लाई।

इस मौके पर पीएम ने ₹19,000 करोड़ की विकास परियोजनाओं का लोकार्पण और शिलान्यास भी किया।

16 जून 2025 — फिल्म थुदरुम की रिलीज़ के लगभग दो महीने बाद इसके खिलाफ चोरी के आरोप सामने आए हैं। प्रसिद्ध निर्देशक सनल कुमार ससीधरन ने दावा किया है कि निर्देशक थरुण मूर्ति की यह फिल्म उनकी 2020 की अधूरी पटकथा थीयट्टम की रूपरेखा पर आधारित है।

फेसबुक पर लिखे गए एक विस्तृत पोस्ट में सनल ने आरोप लगाया कि फिल्म के निर्माताओं ने उनकी कहानी की "हड्डियों की बनावट" यानी ढांचा तो ले लिया, लेकिन उसकी आत्मा को नहीं समझ पाए। उन्होंने बताया कि उनकी कहानी एक ऑटो-रिक्शा चालक अंबी के इर्द-गिर्द घूमती है, जिसे झूठा फँसा दिया जाता है जब उसके ऑटो में एक कटा हुआ सिर पाया जाता है। सनल ने यह भी आरोप लगाया कि उनकी स्क्रिप्ट का एक खास डायलॉग — “कொண்ணால் பாபம் தின்னால் தீரும்” (कन्नड़ मुहावरा: हत्या का पाप भोजन करके समाप्त होता है) — भी फिल्म में बिना ज़रूरत के इस्तेमाल किया गया।

उन्होंने यह भी घोषणा की कि वह जल्द ही अपनी पूरी स्क्रिप्ट सोशल मीडिया पर जारी करेंगे, ताकि दर्शक खुद तुलना कर सकें। थुदरुम की पटकथा थरुण मूर्ति और केआर सुनील द्वारा लिखी गई है और फिल्म को एम. रेंजीत ने रेजापुत्रा विजुअल मीडिया के बैनर तले प्रोड्यूस किया है।

As the Samajwadi Party (SP) intensifies efforts to appeal to Dalit voters, a controversial poster featuring a composite image of party leader Akhilesh Yadav and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar has sparked strong criticism from both the BJP and BSP. The digitally created image blends the faces of Yadav and Ambedkar into one, symbolizing unity or shared ideals.

Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal slammed the move, accusing SP of trying to attract Dalit votes while aligning with the Congress — the same party, he said, that engineered Ambedkar’s electoral defeat in 1952.

BSP's UP president Vishwanath Pal also condemned the poster, pointing out that SP leaders, including its founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, never honored Ambedkar. He recalled that during SP’s rule, districts named after Ambedkar and Kanshi Ram were renamed, and an Ambedkar memorial in Lucknow built by the BSP was insulted as a “hub of extravagance.”

Pal described the poster as a deep insult to Dr. Ambedkar’s legacy.

Communal Tensions Flare in Nainital After POCSO Case Arrest, Minority Shops Targeted

 

Violence broke out in Nainital on Wednesday night after a 65-year-old man named Usman was arrested under the POCSO Act for allegedly raping a minor. The incident occurred on April 12, but the FIR was registered after the victim’s mother approached the police late Wednesday.

Shortly after the arrest, a group of men gathered near the accused's office and vandalised eateries and shops owned by members of the minority community. Videos from the scene showed individuals assaulting shop staff and staging protests in front of a mosque and the local police station.

Senior Superintendent of Police Prahlad Meena stated that the investigation is underway and assured the strictest legal action against the accused. He condemned the violent response and called for calm.

“I urge locals and tourists to remain peaceful and not fall for rumours. Cooperate with police to maintain law and order, and avoid any actions that could damage Nainital’s reputation,” he said.

The Guardian reported that senior figures, including Vice President JD Vance, Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, were using the Signal app to coordinate their efforts. While Signal is encrypted, it is not authorized for sharing classified information.

Goldberg, upon realizing he had been added to the chat with 18 senior Trump administration officials, swiftly deleted sensitive materials, including details about a CIA officer and ongoing operations.
